Sonia Ryang
Sonia Ryang is associate profesor of anthropology and international studies and C. Maxwell and Elizabeth M. Stanley Family and Korea Foundation scholar of Korean studies at University of Iowa. Her books are Writing Selves in Diaspora: Ethnography of Autobiographics of Korean Women in Japan and the US (Lexington Books, 2008), Love in Modern Japan: Its Estrangement from Self, Sex and Society (Routledge, 2008), and the others.
